Founder
Allison Mundy
Allison Mundy brings a unique combination of legal insight, business experience, and community-centered leadership to her family law practice. She is committed to helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with clarity, care, and practical guidance.
Allison earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma before receiving her Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston in 2007. During law school, she worked with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and participated in a study-abroad program where former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia served as one of her instructors.
Following law school, Allison built a successful career in the energy industry, specializing in commercial contract negotiation and market expansion. While working in the corporate sector, she also represented clients in family law and probate matters, maintaining a strong connection to individual and family-focused legal work.
In 2016, Allison felt called to serve her community more directly and made the decision to leave the corporate energy world. She shifted her focus fully to family law, where her professional background and life experience allow her to approach cases with both strategic thinking and genuine understanding.
At Mundy Legal Services, Allison focuses on family law, wills, probate, guardianship matters, and mediation. She became a Certified Mediator in 2022, completing not only the required mediation training hours but also an additional 30 hours of specialized family and child custody mediation training. Her approach emphasizes respectful communication, informed decision-making, and durable solutions that support long-term stability for families.
Allison is actively involved in the legal and local community. Her professional and civic affiliations include:
Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, former Board Member
State Bar of Texas
Texas Bar College
Houston Volunteer Lawyers Association
Leadership North Houston, Class XXV, Alumni Member
She also serves on the Board of Directors for Hands of Justice and, in August 2024, became President of the Board for Playhouse 1960, a local community theater.
Outside of her legal practice, Allison is deeply involved in her daughters’ lives, volunteering at their high school and serving as a Girl Scout leader. She has been married to her husband, Mark, for nearly 20 years and enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, especially her cats.
